Essex University Open Language Programme.  Learning a language (from beginners to advanced levels) via the The Open Language Programme. Offered at Wivenhoe Park by the University of Essex.  Day-time classes starting at the beginning of October.

Workers Education Association (WEA) arrange a course each Spring and Autumn for adults to attend. The Autumn 2006 course is about The English Civil War. See their home page in the Wivenhoe Encyclopedia - click here

The University of the Third Age (U3A) has several sections in Wivenhoe. Look for their entry in the Organisations list, click here
